Fall Carnival
The PS9 Fall Carnival is a beloved and long-standing Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) sponsored event and one of the largest fundraising events of the year. This family and community focused event takes place in the fall and includes bounce houses, carnival games, face painting, balloon twisting, crafts, a pumpkin sale and more!

How can I get involved?
There are many ways to get involved in the event depending on your capacity and interests. From helping with carnival planning to decorations, to day-of set up. Join the Fall Carnival Committee committee on Konstella to stay connected.
When and where is the event?
The Fall Carnival takes place on a Saturday in October in the PS9 schoolyard off St. Marks Street. Event details will be shared with the school community once confirmed.
What types of activities are taking place?
There are tons of fun activities for the whole family! We’ve got a DJ, bounce houses, face painters, balloon twisters, crafts tables, 3 minute portraits, carnival games, a drum line performance and a donut eating contest!
What's the cost to attend?
The General Admission fee for all guests (kids and adults) is $5. The General Admission ticket covers your entry and crafts. Additional tickets will need to be purchased for food and drinks and all other activities including games, the bounce house, face painting and balloon twisting. Activities and concessions cost between 1 and 2 tickets. Tickets cost: $5 for 2 tickets, $15 for 10 tickets, and $25 for 20 tickets.
You can also purchase an All-Day Activity Bracelet for $35 which includes the general admissions fee plus unlimited access to all carnival activities. Food and drinks are not included in the All-Day Activity Bracelets.
What food and drinks will be available?
Food and drinks can be purchased with your tickets. We’ll have cider, juices and seltzer for beverages. For food, we will offer hot dogs, popcorn, cotton candy and other carnival snacks.
