On-Site Providers
On-site providers run full-week, full-time, after school programs that take place at PS9. For the 2026 to 2027 school year, we are so glad to be partnering with NYJTL, TEiAM, and Right at Schools. Registration for after school takes place directly through each provider. Questions about pricing, scholarships, programming, and scheduling should be directed to the individual providers.
If you do register for an after school program, you can join the corresponding social group on Konstella to connect with other families in the program.
TEiAM
Open to: Pre-K to Grade 5
Hours: Monday to Friday, 2:40 - 6:00pm

There is no “i” in TEAM, but it is placed there to represent the organization's "innovative" side. TEiAM was founded in 2019 with the mission to fill the need of STEAM programming in schools and provide a well rounded after school. They make time every day for physical activity and games, homework, snack and science experimentation/exploration. Email PS9BKTeiam@gmail.com with questions.

Right at School

At Right at School, we make the after school hours count by focusing on the stuff that really matters to kids: learning, playing, and growing. Every afternoon, we knock out homework first, and then we explore a great big universe of learning activities—focusing on skills and subjects that help kids succeed in school. With 180+ hands-on learning experiences and DIY Creativity Stations, every day is a new opportunity to learn by doing. Arts and crafts, chess, reading, team challenges, and more- we give kids the freedom, and opportunity, to pursue their interests.
Rain or shine, indoors or out, we always make time to move. We offer kids a range of activities, including team sports and classic playground games, to fit students' physical abilities and comfort zones so everyone can participate. We also have social activities that encourage kids to discover the best in themselves and others, while developing leadership skills. In the Right Club, kids build a sense of belonging by leading their very own community service projects. We help kids find the laughs and smiles that come from feeling good about oneself, helping others, discovering our own potential, and sharing inner joy with friends and family.

At NYJTL, scholars will embark on a transformative journey where cultivated experiences lay the groundwork for bright and fulfilling futures. With activities centered around three key frameworks: Social-Emotional Learning, Relationship Building, and Community Engagement, participants will foster a harmonious balance between self-awareness, peer interactions, and the profound impact one individual can make on the world. In an environment where play knows no bounds and families and schools unite, scholars are challenged to unleash their imagination, fearlessly explore uncharted territories, and gain the essential skills to become tomorrow's leaders - both on and off the court!
NYJTL is a free, DYCD, city-run program. As we gear up for the new school year, we invite you to apply for our NYJTL after-school program! Our program offers a unique blend of tennis, academic support, and enrichment activities designed to help your child grow both on and off the court. It’s a fantastic opportunity for students to stay active, enhance their learning, and explore new interests in a fun, supportive environment.
