Elections

Parent involvement has been, and continues to be, vitally important to the success of our school. The PTO does its part by improving communication between the school and parents, raising funds, and creating continuity from year-to-year for parent volunteers. Please consider running for a position to become an even more active member of the PS9 community!

Elections take place at the last PTO meeting, and all voting must be done in person. Following the Chancellor’s Regulation A660, the only qualification to run is that the candidate is a parent, guardian, or caregiver of a child in the school. Terms are one year long, from July 1st to the following June 30th. For further details, consult the PTO By-laws.
