Movie Night: STAR WARS: A Force Awakens – Jan. 20!

Friday, January 20 at 6:00 pm, 5th Grade students will host a costume-themed Movie Night fundraiser, featuring the blockbuster “Star Wars: A Force Awakens.”

Set 30 years after Return of the Jedi, “A Force Awakens” follows Rey, Finn and Poe Dameron’s search for Luke Skywalker and their fight alongside the Resistance, led by veterans of the Rebel Alliance, against Kylo Ren and the First Order, a successor organization to the Galactic Empire.

Along with a screening of the movie, there will be a costume contest. Come dressed up as your favorite Star Wars character, and enter the raffle for prizes!

This special Movie Night is a fundraiser to help defray the cost of the “Senior Package,” which costs about $280 per student. Help the 5th Grade class decrease of the cost of by attending the screening (or you can speak to a PTO officer or a member of the front office staff about making a donation).

There is a $5 per person suggested donation. Popcorn, hot dogs, healthy snacks and drinks will be available for sale.

Please note:“The Force Awakens” is rated PG-13. We’ll see you at the movies!
