Tips for Keeping Kids Engaged in Learning During Winter Recess

Our students study hard and play hard during the school year, and vacations offer a much-needed respite from the daily school routine. But parents can keep their kids engaged in fun and unusual ways so that students continue to learn and grow during the holiday break. Here are some terrific tips on local places to visit and things to do, recommended by our parent teacher coordinator, Ms. Charmaine Derrell-Jacob and the P.S. 9 PTO.
