  • Review CEP
    • Change spelling of school
    • Add new members
    • Goal 1: Item A,5 and C,5 no extended day
    • All time line dates have to be changed
    • Goal 2: dual language facilitator?
    • Brand new CEP for 2014-2015 and brand new template
    • New school goal is to increase the reading stamina throughout the building and work on small group instruction
  • CEP will be tabled until December meeting for the new format and model for 2014-2015
  • Members will be cutting and pasting into new document if necessary
  • Budget
    • ASA loan taking out of budgetary growth
    • $3,000 for grade teams curriculum planning
    • $55,837 used a sub pay for covering 3rd grade dual language
    • $1,400 paper and ink for MOSEL printing
    • Assistive technology
    • $428 summer school shared will be used for supplies (paper)
    • $22,500 teacher leadership learning
    • $644 translators services

    • Silent Auction $31,000 (Guggenheim and Noel Pointer foundation)
    • Money for substitutes: Ms. D’Avilar will get the money submission dates
    • PTO fundraises for the arts because the PS9 money goes for the staffing of the building because we are a barrier free school

    • Space utilization: we are at capacity
    • Resource room teacher is having problems with fumes in her room with no window; services up to 8 children at a time
    • ELL room no windows; services 6-8 children at a time

    • Series of parent workshops given by Mrs. D’Avilar
  • Open Discussion;
    • Special education workshops
    • Student led conferences for the spring

    • Whole Child/Learning Partners: Director came and discussed tenets and staff climate and culture. ASCD sent a representative to improve team building and climate and culture.

    • Learning Partners on Thursday 159Q: look at reading throughout the building and 321 and 159 will walk through and look in classrooms Dec 4th.
