The DOE is distributing 300,000 internet-ready Apple iPads to students in need of electronic devices to access remote learning.

WiFi & Internet Access
- Providers Offering FREE Wi-Fi or Special Accommodations for 60 Days
- Comcast – As our country continues to manage the COVID-19 emergency, Comcast is taking immediate steps to help connect low-income families to the Internet at home. New Internet Essentials customers will receive two free months of Internet service if you apply by June 30, 2020. Apply by June 30, 2020.
- Spectrum – Apply by June 30 to enroll your household in a Spectrum offer of free internet access to those who quality. Call 1-844-488-8395 or visit their website. It is important to note, customers who sign up for the free service will automatically be billed for using internet access after the first 60 days unless they call Spectrum to cancel the service. Spectrum will also open its Wi-Fi hotspots across their footprint for public use.
