Parents can access their child’s educational records at NYC Schools Account
With a NYC Schools Account, you will be able to view your child’s attendance, grades, and contact information in one of ten languages on a computer, phone, or tablet. To create an account you must be your child’s parent or legal guardian and live at the same address. If you have more than one child attending a NYC school, you can create an account for all of them in one visit. Learn more at: http://schools.nyc.gov/nycschools
How do I create an account?
Bring the following to Ms. Jacob, Ms. Shaw-Taylor, Mr. Williams or Ms. Milord to receive a temporary password:
- Your Photo Identification
- Your Email Address
When your account is created, you’ll receive a receipt with your temporary password printed on it. Get started at https://mystudent.nyc/
For additional information on obtaining a photo ID, visit http://www.nyc.gov/idnyc
To set up an account you will need your child’s Student ID number, which you can find on his or her report card, as well as an Account Creation Code, which your school will supply. You can also open an account by visiting your school-you will need a photo ID such as a driver’s license or passport.
If you do not know your student ID(s) and password(s), you may contact Charmaine Derrell-Jacob, our Parent Coordinator, in person to get this information. Requests cannot be made by phone or email (Chancellor’s student privacy act rules!)
