Scroll down to “May 20” “PS 9 Teunis Bergen” and you will see the two ride times listed. Register for either the morning or the afternoon session. Please arrive early to have bike checked by staff, class starts promptly on time.

Kids who sign up wanting to learn to ride must bring (1) a bicycle that fits him/her (2) a helmet that fits him/her – and by the end of class (s)he will be on his/her way to riding a bike!

In the case of a rain forecast for May 20, Bike New York will contact us a few days before May 20 and tell us if May 20 is canceled. If that happens, this will mean it will be immediately rescheduled for Jun 3. If that is the case, we will reach out to all parents who have signed their kids up for the classes as well as event volunteers when we know this information.

The PTO tables will be set up between the riding area and the school. We will be selling PS 9 Merchandise, refreshments, breakfast, snacks, & lunch. We’ll have raffles and games, coloring, and members of the Transportation, Wellness and Membership committees will be available to talk to parents and neighbors about what we are doing at PS 9.

To help staff the PTO on this event date, Please sign up to do a job for a time shift/slot during the event or please sign up to bring food/drinks/supplies: http://signup.com/go/SOLzuXG
