Get a Clean Closet and Earn Money for the PS 9 PTO! We are holding our second annual Schoola clothing drive. Simply by cleaning out your closets, you can help us raise funds for our school.
It’s easy. Here is how:
- Fill a bag with gently used clothes (clean clothing in new or like-new condition, originally selling for $30 or more) and bring to school between Monday, March 13th and Friday, March 24th.
- What to Donate: Clean, like-new or nearly-new women’s and children’s clothing originally retailing for $30 or more. Items should be by top and well-known brands, and can include shoes (no scuffs or odor, please!), boots, women’s handbags and accessories such as coats, hats and scarves.
- What Not to Donate: Clothing originally sold for less than $30, or with signs of wear. Please do not include men’s clothing, or socks, undergarments, items with missing labels, altered clothing or clothes with offensive language or content. Read more on Schoola’s FAQs page: https://www.schoola.com/faq
- You can also send in clothing from home, follow our progress and spread the word to family and friends through our PS 9 Schoola web page: http://bit.ly/PS9Schoola (case sensitive). The more people that know about the clothing drive, the more PS 9’s PTO will benefit!
Schoola will sort, photograph and sell our clothing at its online store and donate 40% of the proceeds after shipping to the PS 9 PTO! Please contact the PTO with questions, at pto@ps9brooklyn.org.
